Chief Instructors

Clinton Brewer started his martial journey later than most.  He was in his mid 20's when he walked into his first dojo.  He holds a black belt in the art of Ju KI Do under the founder of the style Kyoshi Ivan Ujueta.  During his time with Kyoshi Ujueta. While under the tutelage of Mr. Ujueta Clinton gained numerous trophies from invitational tournaments including state champion for NUKA (National Universal Karate Association) in both forms and fighting.  Clinton tried other styles from Aikido to Zu Jitsu and finally settled on Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu to compliment Ju Ki Do.  Clinton is a 2nd degree black belt in Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu from the Sanchin Karate Dojo in San Antonio under Shihan Luis Gonzales.  Clinton spent approximately 10 years learning and teaching from and for the Sanchin Karate Dojo.  To augment his karate system Clinton has been training in Combat Submission Wrestling to bring karate back to its martial roots.

Modern Dojo

We take a scientific approach to teaching the martial arts.  We start by building the body to correctly perform the required movements.  All instructors are either certified personal trainers or work directly under one.  We practice movements in all planes of movement to allow for the least possibility of injury during training.

We study all the major styles of traditional Japanese karate: Shito-Ryu, Goju Ryu, Shotokan and even Shorin-Ryu from Okinawa, and breakdown the movements  into a functional adaptation  for the modern world.

It doesn't matter if you want to be a champion in the ring or just the confidence in knowing you can protect you and those around you, we can help you achieve those goals.
